FIRST AND LAST FLIGHTS IN 2010
Earliest charter flights from UK are Thomson, London Gatwick to Heraklion 01 April
Avro/Monarch,
London Gatwick to Chania 06 April 2010. Most other charter flights for summer 2010
begin between 02 and 05 May.
Last flights from Crete returning to the UK are mostly during the last few days of October. The final flight from Crete returning to the UK is Heraklion to Birmingham on 01 November. A few flight schedules end in September but these are for flights operated only for the peak weeks between July and September.
Airport services include Birmingham, Bristol, E. Midlands, Luton and Manchester.
The Department for Transport sets out the rules for the maximum size and number of items you are allowed to take aboard an aircraft as hand baggage and hold baggage.
Remember airlines may use their own rules regarding size of hand baggage items allowed. Allowed sizes are often smaller than permitted by the DoT.

“It is a strict condition of booking that you confirm your inbound flight details with the local office noted on your itinerary (not the airport authorities) not more than 48 hours and not less than 18 hours prior to the previously notified flight time.
The company cannot accept any liability if you fail to comply with this condition and, due to a flight change,miss your return flight.”
